Where should I stay?

There are so many gorgeous hotels in Istanbul - feel free to stay wherever suits you best!

We’ve secured a special rate at the CVK Bosphorus Hotel and we’ve also recommended a few other options nearby. We’re hoping to get additional rates soon and will keep you posted.

Are there Ubers and Taxis?

Yes, there are many ways to get around Istanbul! Uber has generally always been our preferred method (they are safe and you can usually grab one within minutes!). Istanbul also has a very impressive metro system.

Our planner can also give you information to book a private driver for the weekend if you’d like.

For the wedding day, we will provide buses to and from the CVK Hotel to Cirigan Kempinski. More details will be provided shortly.

The celebration will start at 7pm in the East Garden of the Palace. It will be followed by an intimate dinner at the Bosphorus Pier Lounge around the corner of the garden.

• August 29th, Wedding Day: Suggested Black Tie Attire. This is an Arab wedding in Turkey, so have fun with it!

We understand the world is a sad and unpredictable place right now. In planning our destination wedding, we’ve had current events top of mind. While Turkey is not involved in the war, we have nevertheless been consulting with security specialists who have reassured that at the present time, there is no indication that our celebration will be impacted.

Daily life in Turkey - including travel, tourism, and events - continues as normal. In fact, major cities like Istanbul remain vibrant and full of visitors.

Our planner has several destination weddings taking place in the country throughout the summer and all are moving forward as planned.

Your comfort means everything to us, and we completely understand that everyone will make the decision that feels right for them. For those who are able to join us, it would mean the world to celebrate together in such a special place.
